Kayaking

Whether at beautiful Caddo Lake or some other body of water, kayaking is a great way for those with physical challenges to enjoy the water and nature. Since there is no motor, you can usually get up close and personal to nature and its animals (birds, alligators!). Turning POINT kayaks have a flat bottom and a big cockpit providing better balance and some are tandom (2 person). What a sense of freedom and independence!

We have added to our fleet of kayaks, a totally adapted kayak with fold out stabilizers and seating with a comfortable higher back and low sides for stability. Also we have a paddle that you slide your hands through to help you hold the paddle.

Many of our paddles take place at Caddo Lake, the only natural lake/swamp in Texas. Traveling through the waters sided by cypress trees with Spanish moss hanging down, fish jumping, great blue herons, egrits, hawks, owls, kingfishers, beavers, nutrias and alligators. A beautiful paddle!
